Trupeer Trim with Script Feature Guide#
This document explains how to use the Trim with Script feature in Trupeer to trim and untrim portions of your video by selecting text in the script. Trimming via script automatically updates the video timeline, duration, and voiceover to match your edits.
Step 1: Open the Edit Page and Select Text to Trim#
Once you are on the video edit page in Trupeer, select the specific text in the script that you want to remove from the video.

Step 2: Use the Trim Option from the Pop-up#
After selecting the text, a pop-up menu will appear. Click on the Trim option to remove the selected script portion from the video.

The page will automatically refresh, and you will see that the timeline and overall video length have been reduced accordingly.
Step 3: Trim an Entire Paragraph#
If you want to trim an entire paragraph, select the full paragraph of text in the script.

Click on the Trim option in the pop-up again.

Trupeer will automatically adjust the video timeline, video duration, and corresponding voiceover to reflect this change.
Step 4: Untrim a Previously Trimmed Section#
To restore a previously trimmed section, select the text in the script that you want to bring back into the video.

In the pop-up, click on the Untrim option.

The previously trimmed text and its associated video and audio will be restored to the timeline.

Step 5: Review and Acknowledge Trimmed Sections#
Trupeer keeps track of the text you have trimmed within the video project. If you want to acknowledge or review a specific trimmed segment, click on the corresponding item.

You can repeat these steps as needed to fine-tune your video using the Trim with Script feature in Trupeer.
