Adding External Images in Trupeer Docs#
This document explains how to insert an external image into your Trupeer docs, and how to edit or annotate that image after it has been added.
Step 1: Place the Cursor Where You Want the Image#
Navigate to the relevant documentation page in Trupeer. Click in the document to place your text cursor exactly where you want the image to appear.

Step 2: Open the Add Image Menu#
From the formatting toolbar, locate and click the Add Image option.

When you click Add Image, you will see two options: Screenshot picker and Upload image.
Step 3: Choose and Upload an Image File#
Click the Upload image option.

In the file manager window that appears, browse to and select the image you want to insert into the document.

After selecting the file, click the Add Image button to upload and insert it.

Step 4: Confirm the Image Is Added#
Once the upload completes, the image will appear automatically at the selected position in your Trupeer documentation.
Step 5: Select the Image for Editing#
If you need to modify the image, click once on the image within the document to select it.

When the image is selected, an Edit image option will appear.
Step 6: Open the Image Editor#
Click the Edit image option.

This opens the image editor, where you can annotate the screenshot and make any adjustments needed (such as highlighting areas, adding shapes or text, etc.).

Step 7: Save Your Image Changes#
When you finish annotating or editing the image, click Save Changes.

Your edits will be saved, and the updated image will appear in your Trupeer documentation.
