Text Formatting in Trupeer Docs#

This document explains how to apply text formatting, use find and replace, and manage changes (undo/redo) while editing documentation in Trupeer Docs.


Step 1: Open the Documentation in Edit Mode#

Once you are on the documentation page, click on the Edit icon to start modifying the content.

You will be redirected to the documentation editor screen where you can make changes.

Step 2: Select the Text to Format#

Highlight or select the text that you want to format before applying any styling options.

Step 3: Choose the Block Type and Basic Text Styles#

From the formatting toolbar above the editor, choose the appropriate block type based on your requirement (for example, code block).

To make the selected text bold, click on the Bold option.

To make the selected text italic, click on the Italic option.

You can also underline the selected text using the underline option.

If you want to add a hyperlink to the selected text, click on the Create link option.

In the link dialog that appears, enter the URL and/or a title for your reference.

Step 5: Apply Inline Code Formatting and Thematic Breaks#

You can convert selected text into inline code format using the inline code option in the toolbar.

For a specific section of text, if you want to insert a thematic break (horizontal divider), click on the Thematic break option. This will insert a divider line in your document.

Step 6: Use Find and Replace#

To quickly update repeated text, use the Find and Replace feature by clicking on its icon.

Enter the text you want to find in the document.

Then enter the text you want to replace it with.

Enable Match cases if you want the search to be case-sensitive. The tool will then identify all instances, for example, where you have written “Trupeer” and can convert them into “Trupeer AI.”

When ready, click on Replace all to apply the changes across the documentation.

Step 7: Undo and Redo Changes#

If you want to revert recent changes, click the Undo option. This will roll back the latest edits you have made.

If you need to restore an action you just undid, click the Redo option. The reverted change will be applied back to the document.

Step 8: Save or Discard Your Edits#

After completing your formatting and content changes, click Save changes to apply them to the documentation.

If you prefer not to keep the modifications, you can discard them instead. Once saved, your updated formatting and content will be reflected in Trupeer Docs.
