Creating Avatars with HeyGen#

This document provides a comprehensive walkthrough for creating a hyper-realistic avatar in HeyGen. By following these steps, you'll be able to successfully record and upload your demo video, create an avatar, and integrate it into your Truepeer environment using API keys.

Step 1#

Begin by navigating to the Avatar section in HeyGen. In this section, you'll find an option to create a new avatar.

Step 2#

Click on the option to create a new avatar. Select the Hyper-realistic Avatar choice, and ensure your camera and microphone are turned on to proceed.

Step 3#

Create your avatar using the demo video. Click on Record to begin recording the demo video. Choose a suitable template and start the recording process.

Step 4#

Aim to record a video that is around 30 seconds long. After completing the recording, click Done Recording. You will be directed to the next screen, where you should click Next.

Step 5#

Proceed to upload your video by selecting your file and clicking Submit. The upload process will commence automatically.

Step 6#

Click on Done to finalize the process. Your avatar will begin its creation. Once it is ready, it will be displayed for you to view.

Step 7#

After creating your avatar, go to your profile and select it. Within the profile options, choose your account and then click on Subscriptions and APIs.

Step 8#

Proceed to the Agent API section, where you can copy your API key. Once copied, return to Truepeer.

Step 9#

Paste your API key into the designated area and click Submit Key. Your avatar will now be ready to integrate into your video.
